I am a dog groomer and have used this for YEARS! makes blowing out thick undercoats and matts so much easier and leaves the fur soft and flowy. I’ve used this on a few poodles that come in looking like they will need to just be shaved to get down to anything but after a deep clean bath, this spray, and a bit of patients, the knots and matts are minimal and manageable. I also use this every time I bathe my aussies at home, really makes for an easy groom and brush out with little stress to the dog.

I had my doubts about detanglers in general..most do not work but this product..this product is the real deal. It completly blew me away by how well it works. I bought this for my longhaired llama that has a tendency to get ticked off when I brush him. There is absolutely ZERO pulling of hair which is what I (and he) wanted! The smell is pleasant, just spray it on and brush. I used a curry and a woman hairbrush, and he was very cooperating, which surprised me. He usually has a hissyfit spitting and cussing lol Sigh..What we llama lovers put up with!

Sorry for this being so long. Me, personally, I would give this 10 stars, 20 stars! I have a shitzu (who has a thick undercoat) that when you just look at him, he gets matted between groomings. I had gotten so frustrated trying different products that didn’t work, it hurt him and he would get so upset that I just resorted to cutting them out of his ears and tail! Not a good look. Then there was the static! ? I don’t care what anyone says (negative)! When he sits and let me brush and brush and brush (without getting snappy) and I didn’t feel like I was torturing him, I’m sold. Both (ears and tail) are softer and flowing without any oily feel and NO STATIC!???… 1st I sprayed it on the knots, working it down the hair shafts as directed. Since they were so bad to me, I let it set for about 5 minutes. I then sprayed it on the brush as well and went to work. I am soooooo Happy, Happy, Happy! This is my Testament, it works!! And it shipped fast and well packaged! For me and him, it’s worth the money. Now to try it on my Yorkie’s top knot, but I’m going to have to put it in a smaller spray bottle for her. ? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHOWSHEEN, highly!!!Thank you and when we travel, I’ll let you know how it works on cockleburrs!

I bought this product for something other than what most people use it for I think. I have two corgis that absolutely love the snow. One has a regular coat which isn’t a problem, but the other is a fluffy who comes in with snowballs stuck to his undercarriage. They clearly annoy him and he obsessively freaks out and tries to chew them off of himself unless we stick him in a warm bath to melt them right away. We found that a quick spritz of ShowSheen about 30 minutes before going outside does the trick. The snow doesn’t stick and he is free to frolic without the consequences. Absolutely fantastic!

Goldendoodles loved this! They smell so good and their hair is so soft! Do not use this while on hardwood floors! They are so slick and I cannot get the product off of my floors, LOL! Highly recommend putting your dog on a blanket and using this product. It’s fabulous for getting tangles out!

I am a groomer and use this a de matting spray as well as a finishing spray. Works well, if you use to much in one spot or on much silkier coats this may look greasy. I will never use any other dematting or finishing spray. Has worked better than Davis products as well as another $50 “de matting” creme spray a associate of mine had. Also smells light and clean!

Well, it really worked. I have two long haired German Shepherds that get covered in burrs, especially on their bellys. Being a sensitive area, it was impossible to comb burrs and stickers out. I worked small amounts of this stuff into their fur with my hands and the burrs slid right out! When dry they were not oily, which was a concern. My boys look and feel great.
