Our last scratching post was wholly demolished. I figured this one was a bit of a novelty and might not last as long, but it has. I bought it maybe 6 months ago and it’s showing minimal wear. The little pom pom was destroyed immediately. The ropes have frayed a bit but it’s still generally intact and really cute. Still looks like a little cactus. When it needs replacing, I’ll order this one again.

I like this scratching post and my cat likes it too. The base should have been made heavier, since it moves around when he scratches. But it is very cute and well made except for the base.

Even though it moves because it’s not heavy enough on bottom my daughters cat loves his. I was amazed how he stopped scratching on other stuff and uses it. Totally worth the money just wish it was a little heavier on bottom so it would not slide on floor so easy

I have way way way way too many cats bc you know, PTSD. Anyway, my jerky cats haven’t destroyed this yet and they tear the total crap out of everything. So I give this little cactus scratcher an A. He’s got gumption that can’t be scratched away easily.

My cat doesn’t scratch much but he likes his cactus scratcher. Whether he prefers this or the front door mat is a toss up. It’s smaller than I expected, but that doesn’t seem to keep the cat from enjoying it. The less space given over to cat toys the better anyway.
