We love our mare, but man…treats can get expensive. Even though they are TREATS and we don’t give her near what we see some families give their 4 legged friends, the bags can get expensive. Our girls loves these and I love that they are a deal – especially since she won’t be alone for long! Good treats, and a good sized bag.

MY WIFE’S HORSE LOVES THESE. The horse still hates me tho.

I’m sorry I rated this product unjustly. I thought I was reviewing another horse product I bought recently. So forgive me and ignore what I wrote about this product. They loved these treats. This was my original review but so wrong. Very fast delivery was the best thing about this. Ordered one day got it the next. Have a Welsh pony that is loosing weight. I was excited from others reviews that this would help her. She loves her regular horse feed but with the recent cold Texas weather and her own daughter bullying her off her feed she has lost a lot of weight. Got it yesterday and dished up her regular food. Then I added a scoop of this new stuff to her feed. I thought she was going to eat it at first but evidently she did not like it at all. She stopped eating it and even went over to her daughters bucket to eat some of hers that didn’t have this in it. That never happens. I ended up having to remove the food from her bucket but she didn’t want any part of that bucket again. Other horses may like the flavor but mine didn’t.

I use them during training sessions and they work wonderfully. My horses really like these… even more than REAL apples.Although they DO keep well, I SHOULD have given these 2 stars for longevity since they don’t last in my barn (bc they’re EATEN UP SO FAST!)

My horse loves, loves, loves these! I tried switching to a different treat that had omegas in them but he refused them. Whenever he saw me reaching out of my pocket, he did this little shake of his head in excitement. My horse came from Florida, bad quality hay. Since he’s in Wisconsin he’s become a bit of a food snob. Turned down his former grain to the hay and grain my boarding facility grows themselves. These treats are the only ones he’ll eat now! We just finished a bag of the apple flavored which made his breathe smell pretty good. Trying the peppermint next! I’m surprised to see such a difference in price in flavors though. Why is the carrot and spice more expensive?

They smell quite artificial but my donkeys love them. For the price not bad and they are SOOOO less messy for your barn jacket pocket than all the other treats out there. I’ll probably buy them again.

This treat is horse crack.I had all the horses searching my pockets, nipping my gloves and jacket for them. The gray in the picture, since he arrived at the barn from an auction, has not let anyone touch him, we can’t catch him. He took a treat from me today and then followed me around for them, 6 handfuls later I can touch his face.

This horse would walk extra steps just to get these treats. She is a senior horse so the treat has to be worth the effort. For the value and size of the bag of treats, I give it an A +.

I care for 13 horses. One horse won’t take any other treats, but adores this flavor. All the other horses crowd around hoping to get another treat. The treats smell really good.

My very picky yearling who won’t touch real apples/fruit or veggies loves these. So I’m happy! and the price is awesome. The only other thing I can get her to eat are stud muffins and those are much pricier.
