We have purchased these several times and now order them via auto delivery from Amazon permanently. Our kitty, Sebastian loves them. I feed him one in the morning and one in the evening mixed in with MeowMix and he always leaves the bowl sparkling clean. The prices do vary for the different flavors which erks me a bit as I like to keep ordering a nice variety to make sure my cat doesn’t get bored, but the price is comparable to any supermarket or online pet food retailer anyway. The selling point for me though, is the fact that they are individual portions and I like that I don’t have to keep any smelly, open cans in my fridge, or even bother with cans at all. I’ve read some other remarks saying they are messy or hard to open but I don’t have that problem at all. It’s as easy as opening a yoghurt container and if you do it in such a way, there’s rarely any spillage of the gravy. Sebastian’s happy, I’m happy and I will continue to repurchase. My first pic is when we took our little guy in off the street a few months ago and he was so skinny. The second is now. He looks so much better with good, regular meals now. I’ve fed him Perfect Portions since we took him in.

Before finding it here, I bought the 12-ct at the local store for more and with less interesting flavors. Though seafood inevitably has a stronger smell and a little more liquid in the cups, this hardly registers as an inconvenience over something to be mindful of if you’re trying to open these things first thing in the morning. We have two cats that often both come in to wake me up if I’m trying to sleep in because they need their fix; simply snapping the twin packs is enough to send them running–them being twin packs is rather cute, as it is.Since this isn’t enough for the whole month (using Subscribe/Save) I have an additional 12-ct of poultry for missing days, and the cats do seem to prefer the seafood (they eat all pate, of course, but go through seafood much faster).Highly recommended, but if you’re trying to peel the sometimes-very-stuck covers when you’re barely awake, try to be careful, lest your fingers get covered in the juice and smell for a bit lol

I have a cat with serious health issues, particularly digestion problems. I have gone through dozens of different cat foods to find something he likes to eat AND will properly digest. After an exhaustive search, I was nearly out of options when I ran across Sheba Perfect Portions Pate. An added bonus is that the trays truly do allow you to serve your cat a “perfect portion” without having to waste the remainder. Yes, other brands you can put the excess in the fridge, but cats are as picky as people and aren’t fond of leftovers. My cat especially likes the Turkey flavor – I wish I could order just a 48-count of the Turkey. He will settle for the Chicken, but turns his nose up at the Beef.ONE WORD OF CAUTION: Sheba also sells Perfection Portion CUTS. Not pate, but cuts. The packaging, however, looks identical. So be careful when you order that you are ordering the right food, as the only visible difference is one simple word on the package.

I’ve searched for nearly a year for a wet cat food for my kitty who has stomatitis. Poor guy has lost all of his teeth, and the vet said to feed him only wet foods to lessen his chance for pain. He was on Fancy Feast for gravy lovers, then FF pate. I don’t know if he tired of this brand, but it looked as though he was eating less and less. I used broths and stews and bisque, but these were geared toward snacks, not meals. I recently purchased the SHEBA pate, and he’s starting to get his appetite back again. I’ve tried about 4 pate’ brands, this one is the absolute softest. It is soft enough and “fluffy” enough not to get plastered into the bowl as he licks it up. This is truly a lifesaving game changer for my little guy. He’s about 10, and with the stomatitis, he needs all the help he can get. SHEBA pate’ will help me to keep him as healthy as possible. Thank you SHEBA folks! The packaging is nice, plastic portion sections with foil seals that have a tab. Well sealed, looks like they will not leak. There are two container sections per each single unit that snap apart making two servings per single physical unit. Twelve units of two servings per multipack 24 in total.Kitty likes the flavor I chose, Chicken Entree, and it even smells pretty good for cat food. I will purchase this one again!

I’ve so much to learn as a new fur baby parent… Before adopting our first kitty, I looked at a lot of products for the care and feeding of cats, spending over $200 for all the supplies we’d need. But I didn’t know much about food. I bought Fancy Feast. UGH!My daughter started sending me links to articles about cat food ingredients… I knew cats didn’t need vegetables, but I was unaware of how many products also contained grain products (also something carnivorous animals don’t need). The Sheba Perfect Portions are a reasonably-priced compromise. It does contain by-products (animal parts never found at your supermarket meat counter), but no grains or vegetables. The perfect cat foods (no by-products) cost twice as much. Should I buy the absolute best for our fur baby? Absolutely. But that would probably mean not having a fur baby at all. The Sheba is affordable, higher quality, and widely available. I visited the manufacturer’s website and was impressed with their commitment to using only sustainable resources for seafood varieties (though we’ll probably only feed fish occasionally due to concern about Vitamin A toxicity). Some other reviews mention difficulty opening the containers and I would have to agree. I squirted the juice/gravy all over myself last night. Whatever adhesive is used to attach the foil top to the plastic container is very effective for protecting the product. Don’t squeeze the container and open it very, very slowly. Our new kitty likes the Sheba pates. We’ll keep the Fancy Feast for occasional variety or emergencies (mom forgets to order more Sheba in a timely manner). It’s a learning process.

Our finicky cat loves this stuff, and it doesn’t make him toot and stink like the brands that contain wheat, wheat gluten, corn and other grains and starches that cats’ digestive systems aren’t “designed” for. Unlike most small containers of cat food, which are typically 3 oz, these are slightly smaller. When I bought this in January, I pd $8.49 for this same qty, free Prime shipping. It’s now nearly double that price in a short time period, so I checked our local Dollar Store and found the 3 oz CANS of Sheba for less than this works out to be. I love Amazon and am a loyal customer, but it pays to take the time to “shop the site” as prices for the same product of the same size can vary alot from listing to listing and day to day.

My picky, 14-year-old cat CANNOT get enough of this stuff. Every morning she screams at me until I give her her breakfast, and then screams at me every few hours for some more. I tried giving her both Friskies and Fancy Feast pate, chunks, and shreds, both brands of which she would pick at and then leave the majority of on her plate. With Sheba, she very rarely walks away before it’s gone, and if she does she’ll return shortly after to finish it. I always leave kibble out for her as well, and she still regularly eats it despite how superior I’m sure the Sheba is to her kitty palate. I’ve tried 6 different flavors with her – Seafood, tuna, salmon, beef, chicken, turkey – and she’s shown no preference: every portion is gone within four or five minutes. She’s been losing weight as she gets older so I’m ecstatic to see her eating so well. Even better, she used to have terrible issues with throwing up several times a week, and she would frequently throw up shortly after trying the Friskies or Fancy Feast. Since she’s been eating Sheba regularly, her last regurgitation episode was about a month ago, the longest period she’s had without puking in years. Sheba is the only thing that I could reasonably attribute to this change. As happy as I am that she’s not constantly retching and heaving, I’m sure that she’s even happier. Additionally, her coat looks much smoother and shinier after a few months of eating Sheba – friends and family have commented on how pretty it looks – and she seems livelier and more talkative. Other reviewers have said that their picky eaters love Sheba, and my picky eater has proven to be no different.

Idk if the seller can please contact me, but I’m afraid of buying this product. All over amazon I’m seeing reviews of wet cat food with a bunch of mixed commentary and some people saying there box came with bugs, or made there cats sick…other people say it’s great. My box is fine. Clean. I inspected it. Everythings good. But now I’ve been look at all the bad reviews on every wet cat food…and it’s the same on all of them on amazon. A ton of amazon reviews are like this and it’s terrifying. What is going on? How can I make sure I’m buying safe wet food for my cat? I’m seriously so paranoid. Can anyone help clear up with me what is going on in these nightmare reviews?

This food has literally been a life saver for my cat, who is sick and doesn’t have much longer left in life. He had been losing a lot of weight and the food he’s been eating before this he wouldn’t eat, or if he ate it he’d eat it for a few days and stop eating it again. We’ve tried 10 different brands (a long with many different flavors in the other brands) and nothing would work. We didn’t want one of our babies to suffer so we were at the end of what we could try, and we decided we would try one last kind, and if that didn’t work we would make the hard decision to put him to sleep. We bought this flavor combo & another combo with bits in it. He immediately took to this food the moment I put it in his dish. He gobbled it up and wanted more. It’s a little more expensive since he’s eating more, but it’s totally worth the price… because he loves it. He been eating this food for about 5 weeks and he’s gained weight and continued to eat this food every day. He will never probably gain all the weight back because he does have health issues, but this food is giving us more time with him. I don’t know if this has helped other people’s cats like it does ours, but I’m grateful to this company. At a minimum it’s given us a few more months. Saying goodbye to a fur baby is hard. We had to put our 15 year old cat to sleep last August, so I definitely was having a hard time dealing with having to put another one to sleep within a year….but thanks to this food we don’t have to stay the moment. He’s even a little more active, his coat is shinnier again, and he has color in his eyes. I know this isn’t a “cure all”, but for him to gain weight and eat this food is our miracle. Thanks Sheba cat food!

My super picky cat LOVES these. We have tried so many different types of both wet and dry cat food; sometimes she lets the food sit in her bowl for hours before she deigns to eat it, sometimes she would just never eat it, and sometimes I think she would only eat it because she was too hungry to protest anymore.NOT with these. We got the Seafood Variety Pack, and as soon as we put the Salmon or Whitefish in the bowl she immediately goes over and starts licking it. She doesn’t always eat a whole portion all at once, but it doesn’t sit there for hours like with other foods. We are still working on how much she actually need to eat, but right now it looks like just one portion in the morning and evening and a 1/4-1/2 cup of dry food for nibbling throughout the day.
