My hens have ignored the heck out of this xylophone, so I have endured the jeering of friends and family for nothing. However, that is not the company’s fault. The product is sturdy and looks like it does in the pictures.

It bright and colorful and the chicken peck at it instead of each other, I showed it on outside of fence so you can see the size, each square is a 1/2 inch. I don’t have a photo of the ?Rooster pecking it, but it his favorite thing, besides the Hens?. I have bought these before for parrot ? so I had to try it with my Chickens and they love it.?

I have a very aggressive rooster. It’s a hoot to watch him ruffle his feathers in preparation to attack, then abruptly change directions, and stop to play this toy. He loves making musical sounds

Well let’s just say when I introduced this to my chickens one hen wanted to peck it from my hand and then they all moved to the opposite side of the run and “huddled up” while examining this interesting toy. While watching them afterward they each took turns pecking at it. Three of them liked green apparently and the rest liked blue while the rooster was hitting the red and pink… Just an observation just call it curiosity on my part to see what they would do. They also seem to like pecking that little bell on the bottom.All in all they seem to be enjoying it as it did bring them a little excitement.I would recommend this to anyone who has chickens.

My chickens try their hardest to play really nice songs for me on their xylophone, but they just suck at it. They play notes out of order and have a hard time sharing the spotlight. I should probably look into lessons for them if they’re ever gonna make anything out of themselves.

I bought this to try to give my chickens something to occupy their long lonely winter days cooped up with each other. I really didn’t know if they’d take to it, but almost immediately their curiosity got the better of them and they started pecking at it. Time will tell if it’s durable, if it will last the winter.

I wish it would let me add the video but oh my gosh GREATEST THING EVER! I was hesitant at first that they would play with it but oh my they did! As soon as I put it up they went right over and started pecking at it. Totally worth the money!
